Anti-trackback spam working?

I’m not sure if anybody noticed, but on Saturday, I think about 5 trackback spam got correctly sent to moderation. This morning, about 15 got through. They weren’t sent to moderation like they were supposed to.

I would say I might’ve setup the plugin incorrectly, but that can’t be the case because it was working. Really, I implemented the necessary change needed so it should work. In any case, I’m at a loss at the moment. I hate having to post “trackbacks enabled, wait…trackbacks disabled”. (Trackbacks are disabled, though.) But, it comes with the territory, so I’ll deal. Does WordPress 1.5-beta have better handling with all this stuff? Better plugins?

  1. I don’t know… It seems the plugin I use to stop SPAM has stopped working.

Then I upgraded my blog and it all out broke… I don’t think I’m going to rush to update it though as I have become so good at flushing out the SPAM.

I guess it’s just one of those wars you can’t win no matter what you do.
