I got the EZ Lap I ordered on Sunday this afternoon. However, two of the four acrylic legs(?) were broken. I called Cyberguys at 5:53pm, talked to Isaiah, and after giving him the order number, he told me he’d send another free of charge. Wow, what service! They close at 6pm PST, and thankfully not a minute earlier. I’ll try to duct tape them down, so I can test it out. That’s all I’d really like to do at this point.
And if the next one comes broken, you can upgrade yourself to an iLap. Of course, it is designed for Mac laptops, and does cost upwards of $40 more. But it’s all in good fun, right?

I think I saw that before, and I know it’s really nice. If I had a iBook, I’m sure I’d splurge for that as well.
For this “broken” EZ Lap, I could just use some super glue and it should be good as usable. If that ends up happening, I’ll probably give it to one of my friends who also has a laptop.

So, any followup on the EZ lap? Did your temps go down, how easy is it on your lap, do you take it with you when you travel or is it too big and awkward? What I’m really interested in is whether it keeps the temps down so the fan comes on less?
