Encode your email address

Went out with a few friends tonight, and got to talking with one of them about a site he was working on for his sister: Becca Bottoms. Long story short, he wanted to display actual email addresses (rather than a contact form). I told him to encode them so they wouldn’t get spam – well, at least not as much spam as an unencoded email address. FYI: There’s more than one way to encode an email address.
