Skype chill session

Like Matt said, I talked with him and Larry last night. My first chat with Larry was set more on helping him a little with his new website. Rather, this session was just about whatever. Testing out the latest Skype beta and the Skype Answering Machine, we didn’t talk for too long, I think. It was past midnight for Matt, and Larry had stuff in the morning (as did I). We had some more problems with this chat session, and it might’ve been because we switched to the beta version.

The problem for me this time was that my mic would cut out all of a sudden, and then I couldn’t hear them. However, Matt was half busy with stuff, and Larry was messing with his mic setup as well. As I get used to this, I’m sure it’ll only get more stable.

Maybe it has to do with the SAM? Two of the sound devices were set to use the SAM Virtual Cable 1 and 2. When I changed those to the Windows default device, things were fine again. Also, SAM tested okay. I finished with those settings, and we ended that conversation.

I think if someone ever wanted help with their computer or WordPress stuff, I’m much more tempted to do so through Skype. Really! Just let me know ahead of time.

  1. Let’s try it again tonight…maybe I’ll be less busy with “stuff” and we can test stuff out.

It’s an awesome program tho. I must admit.

  2. Tonight’s not good, and I would say tomorrow night if it weren’t for the basketball league I’m in. So, hopefully Thursday. (Yeah, I know you’re going back to school soon.)
