Tagging within WordPress

MtDewVirus turns to tagging, as opposed to using categories. If it’s really that simple, I’ll scratch all my categories, except for Asides and General, and tag all my posts. Wait, did he tag all his posts? All the way back to November 2003, yikes!

  1. So what is the diffrence? Just much more tags?

Seems a bit overdone to me.

Someone is looking for something – Isn’t there going to be a much higher chance they will find the right place if there are less choices?

    Am I missing something?

  2. Yes, I went back and individually tagged each post…I wish I hadn’t. I should have written a plugin to easily tag them all. Would have saved me hours! Oh well, it was fun to go back and read my old posts.
