I’ve set up a private website for our church to be run on WordPress. It’ll be password protected using the web protect feature in Cpanel. The pastor doesn’t want the public to see it – only the congregation, friends, and family abroad who can’t be at the service.
I installed WordPress for it a couple hours ago, showing Tim at the same time, and he wanted to learn WordPress. I showed him how to write a post, and how to upload a file. He’d like to upload the MP3 after the service. I don’t know what else he’d want to learn. I think since it was just after dinner, and everyone was relaxed, he was kind of drifting.
How about you? If you’ve just introduced someone to WordPress, how do you show them around? What do you tell them?

Most of the images are broken, but it’s very comprehensive.

I wonder if someone with a good sounding voice record that into an MP3? The person I’m thinking about isn’t too much into reading a whole lot, so I think listening and following along would be really cool. (I’m serious!)
