This EZ Lap follow-up is for Tom.
I’m not monitoring my laptop temps by any means. I feel more comfortable with the EZ Lap, and the heat isn’t too bad. I keep it in my laptop bag and use it all the time. I can’t say the laptop fan runs more or less than before, because I simply can’t remember. I ended up using Krazy Glue for the first EZ Lap that came in to fix the risers, because the corner of the second EZ Lap was shattered. Since the packing wasn’t thorough enough, I don’t think I’d buy it again unless it was in a store – it’s just too fragile in transit. Of course, that’s just me.
The iLap is looking pretty good now, but you probably can’t pack it in a standard laptop bag.
Hm…do you know of any way TO monitor your laptop temperature? I would love to have some background tool running so I can see when I need to turn the fan in the room on higher and what not.

I haven’t looked at these type of apps in quite sometime, but the one I know of is Motherboard Monitor (discontinued). Perhaps SpeedFan or HMonitor will work, too?
