Still not sending pingbacks

You know how I upgraded to WordPress 1.5.1.1? Well, I still can’t send pingbacks. I think I’m giving up on trying to get that fixed. What’ll I do? Just use trackbacks exclusively. I don’t know what else to do, especially since this should just work.

  1. In using Pingomation, it does say that I do ping and trackback but not pinging to Ping-O-Matic. Remove www prior to the domain (I don’t know the proper term to describe) and the data is reversed. No ping/track but a valid ping to Ping-O-Matic. I’m using 1.5.1.1 as well.

  2. So, you’re suggesting if I link to someone in a post, and their URL contains “www”, remove that?

Ping-o-mation says that I pinged Ping-o-Matic this morning, so I think that’s going through just fine. It’s just the pingbacks to other [WordPress] blogs.
