I loved this conversation I had today! I won’t say anything further, in hopes you all understand what I mean:

Yeah, but when you’re working a support situation where speed if necessary, it’s just easier to type “You can find the article here: [paste URL].” It seems to be common practice amongst most customer support departments and communities.

I know what you mean, I think it was more aimed towards bloggers and stuff (hence the tag). I totally agree – some applications, like help desks, need for the links to be just like that. 😉

I agree, I can’t stand when I see a site with “Click Here” linked to a page. Use something descriptive as the link text. Not only does it make more sense, but it’s great for search engines.
Just look at the Google search for “click here”.
