I’m going to be using nLite 1.0 beta 4 (with quite a bit of customization in the setup) to clean install Windows XP on my laptop. 😯 If that goes well, I’ll basically do the same at home (of course creating another nLite CD for that system). I’ve put it off for awhile on both systems, but I think they’re due.
In a nutshell, what is nLite (in your own words) and what’s so cool about it?

Well, I love: the slipstreaming of a service pack, removing certain things from Windows I don’t use, the fact that (for the most part) I don’t have to be there to click through the setup install, and I like the creation of a new ISO image. If the driver and hotfix installation works, it’d be really awesome. It’s all very simple, too. Definite timesaver, for at least the unattended install.
