Jonathan told me to sign up for Top 100 Bloggers a few weeks ago, so I finally did it recently. It’s another way to see other blogs, but it’s more structured than a blogroll on someone’s site. There’s voting, rating, and comments. What’s my problem? It’s not with the system, but with the visitors clicking through. If you’re gonna rate a blog negatively (example: me), at least tell me why so I can at least improve myself.
It’s crap like that that caused me to stop using BlogExplosion. People would rate my blog negatively, but leave no comment as to WHY. I’m guessing that most people just didn’t like what I was writing about, or didn’t agree with my opinions. In my eyes, that’s not a good reason to rate something negative.

I refuse to sign up for any of those types of sites which require me to put some code in my site before being listed. I’ll stick to BOTD, Technorati, and others which use pings and such.

Technically, BOTD requires you to install a plugin. 😀 *hugs, runs*

Yes, but they don’t require me to link to their site. I’ll gladly install plugins for such things. I view it like Google…I don’t have to link back to the big G for them to include my sites in their search engine results.

That’s true, I was just being goofy. I hear what you’re saying.
