Okay, that’s it. I’m switching from IPB 1.3.1 to PunBB. Granted I’m on a really old version, but it still works. It’s been such a long time where it’s not really getting much action. Most of the activity now is coming from spammers that register an account then post spam. I’m quick to ban them, of course.
What are my next actions? I’m going to:
- purge through the forums
- delete old posts/images
- delete inactive members
- converting IPB to PunBB
That was all GTD-style, to have more finite items to go through.
I got a few comments the last time I was wondering about shutting it down, so I’ll assume those still hold true. Ultimately, I’ve made up my mind. I know PunBB will be fast, efficient, and XHTML valid.
