USB stick for news aggregator only

I think I’m convinced that I’m going to get a USB flash drive dedicated for a news reader. I’ve been using RSS Bandit, but at work, it’s still a bit slow because of the connection speed. Do any of you do something similar, or just use an online service? I’ve been trying Gregarius 0.5.2, but it just doesn’t do it for me. When I use my laptop, and I don’t have internet access, I’d like to be able to go thru my feeds offline easily.

Oh yeah, I know about the list of news aggregators at the Wikipedia, but that list is huge! 😀

  1. No – but it’s the times when I have a slow or non-existant connection when it matters more. Work twice a week, the other times when I’m not at home, I could read it off my laptop when I don’t have a wireless connection (the majority of the time).

  2. Bloglines kicks the butt of the Google Reader… Hell it kicks the butt of anything…

Plus you can track packages from UPS and FedEx with them… And that’s just nice… No really… It is because it’s just there with no extra steps to go the the UPS site or FedEx one.

  3. I liked using Bloglines, but for some reason I can’t access it at work. 😦 I’ve asked our networking guys to look into it, but that never happens.
