Merry Christmas

If you’re celebrating Christmas, I hope you’re having a great one!

***

Have you read the Christmas story in Luke 2:1-20? It’s something I need to make sure I remember during my celebrations.

It’s the thought behind the gift, not the price.

Occasionally, I’ll hear someone mention that they wished nobody got them gifts, because then they’d have to the same.

We need to remember that a gift is “something given voluntarily without payment in return.” (Dictionary.com) God gave us the gift of His Son. We can’t pay for it — we can’t even afford it! All we can do is accept Him into our lives.
