I have cousins in Hawaii (Oahu). Their youngest, Jason, is graduating from high school, and I’m invited for the party.
I’m leaving tomorrow morning (Friday, June 12th) at 9:30am from LAX and won’t be back until Friday, June 20th at 5:00am.
As far as I know, I’ll have limited computer access. I’m not even going to try checking email, Flickr, or Google Reader. My ridiculously underpowered laptop isn’t worth bringing[1. I only use it for web browsing and email. What’s worse is that the battery doesn’t hold a charge anymore.] and my cousin’s don’t have a good computer or broadband internet. *sniff*
Don’t be alarmed if you still see some activity here — I’ve scheduled posts while I’m gone.
At the very least, I should be able to use it to transfer photos from my memory cards onto my external hard drive. Otherwise, my cards limit me to about 450 raw photos, max. (See “RAW vs JPEG” by Michael Mistretta.)
If anyone wants to photowalk and show me around[2. I won’t have a car.], I’m staying in Wahiawa[2. Except for Saturday, when I’m sure the day will be spent for the party.]. Grab my cell phone number from my contact page and give me a call.
Otherwise, I can’t wait to come back with lots of photos and great stories. See you when I return!
This is when a N800 tablet with att data plan is perfect. 🙂

@ Chris:
Pretty much. But, I won’t miss the internet as much as I would having the ability to process photos.

You went to Japan, so you can’t complain too much!
Of course, I know you’re going through finals. Perhaps another get away afterward? 🙂
