Oblivious

Oblivious

This man was so much into his electronic device that he took way too long in the crosswalk. I’m not sure why these photos fascinate me.

While photowalking, Noel let me use his Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM. I love the contrast it brings.

Processing notes (Adobe Lightroom): I’ve started adjusting my black and white photos with the grayscale mixer. It’s helped me bring out his face more without brightening the photo too much. Fortunately for me, it’s not that difficult.

  1. It is a fascinating subject. All engrossing digital devices that we carry with us wherever we go is a fairly recent phenomenon. I’m sure great photographers will continue to capture compelling images about being completely oblivious as it becomes more ubiquitous.
