I just started listening to Story of the Year’s latest album, “The Black Swan.” I’m not sure how I missed it – it was released in April!

Anyway, they’re one of the few bands where practically every song on their albums rock. I love their vocals, harmonies, heavy guitar riffs and energy. I hope you do, too.

If they’re in your area, you’ll want to see them live. They put on an amazing show.

I’m so stoked that Brian Auer (F/B/T) included me in the honorable mention list in his post, “Five More Fantastic Flickr Photographers“.

Despite my lack of a DSLR camera over eight months ago, I’m glad I went to the Santa Monica photowalk in August 2007 and met him.[1. I shudder seeing those photos.] He’s been a great friend and huge influence[2. Tom Webb (the_wolf_brigade) can attest to this. He rocks, too!] in my photography.
