I finally upgraded from Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3.6 to 5.7.1. While logged into my Adobe account, I saw that my telephone and postal mail options in Communication Preferences were checked. Bad form!
I’ve been installing Adobe Reader 8.1.2 for our computers at work. Then, I found out there was a new version: Adobe Reader 9.
No thanks. If there’s no security holes, stick to the earlier version because it won’t:
- Shove Adobe Air down your throat. (No way to uncheck this.)
- Add Acrobat.com to your computer, but not provide a way to cleanly uninstall it.
- Weigh over 200MB after its finished installing (Still, Adobe Reader 8.1.2 takes 170MB of space. Ack.)
