Libby lived longer

March 3, 2012 — The weather was cloudy, with a few bouts of rain. Before we ventured into Bonaventure Cemetery, Rudzki had four shots of espresso in a venti drink from Starbucks.
Since sipping several shots* of espresso at PERC Coffee wasn’t enough, on the drive back to Tybee Island, we stopped at Foxy Loxy Print Gallery and Cafe—which was also in Savannah—for treats and more caffeine. Their baked goods and espresso drinks were delectable! (Seriously. The Foxy Brownie. Wow.)
*Yay alliteration!
While I was in Tybee Island a few months ago with my felllow coworkers, a handful of us (coffee lovers) joined Jane Wells to test several shots of espresso made with the Presso at PERC Coffee.
It was incredible to taste the differences with each variable modification that goes into creating each shot of espresso, and we had a great time watching Philip demonstrate using the Presso. He really knows his stuff. (I’ll just say that I’m really glad my AeroPress is easy to use.)
Thanks for taking the time to chat with us, Philip. Keep on roasting! 🙂
Lens flair was added purposely. I had another shot without (by using my hand as a lens hood to block the light coming from the side), but I thought this was pretty cool.
I also took a straw poll from the other Happiness peeps in the room and they gave me a thumbs up so they wouldn’t hurt my feelings. 😉
After looking at the photo, Chris says, “My arms are hairy.”
First time using the Camera+ iOS app. Pretty cool, especially the Clarity setting. (Hat tip to fellow coworker James Huff.)
